Oscar De La Hoya says his relationship with Ryan Garcia can still be repaired, and he wants a face-to-face meeting to map out Garcia’s next five years.
“It’s very salvageable. It’s a matter of talking to Ryan, sitting down with him, and mapping out his career for the next five years. I’m still hoping for that,” De La Hoya

Dana White complicates that plan. He has said he wants Garcia at Zuffa Boxing once his current deal ends, and he noted that only one Golden Boy fight remains after Garcia’s September knockout of Conor Benn. No official Zuffa offer has been confirmed.
Zuffa could put big money on the table and force Golden Boy to match it. With Benn and Shakur Stevenson earning large purses there, Garcia has every reason to test the market before committing five more years.
