Fundora Calls For Undisputed Showdown With Ennis
Sebastian Fundora wants a fight with Jaron “Boots” Ennis to settle who is the undisputed welterweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super welterweight champion.
“Jaron Ennis is the one calling me out, so he’d be the guy I want to face soon,” Fundora
Before that, the 6-foot-6 WBC champion defends against unbeaten mandatory challenger Ermal Hadribeaj on October 17 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Bookmakers have him as short as 1/14 (-1400), and he is coming off a March stoppage of former champion Keith Thurman.
Ennis is expected to meet IBF champion Josh Kelly in a three-belt unification fight targeted for January 2027. The Philadelphia fighter stopped Xander Zayas in June to win the WBA and WBO titles and would be a heavy favorite over Kelly.
If both champions win, they would hold all four major belts between them, setting up an undisputed title fight later in 2027.
