Strickland Threatens To Leave UFC Over Pay
Sean Strickland says he may walk away from the UFC unless the pay situation changes, and days later he was confronted at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas by No. 3-ranked contender Nassourdine Imavov.
“I gotta be honest, unless things change with the UFC, I’m kinda over it. McGregor makes $30 million to fight for 30 seconds, and they don’t want to pay us a fraction of it. Contemplating just going to 205, knocking out my contract, and scrapping with Jake Paul. That sounds fun,” Strickland
Imavov then approached the champion about their stalled title fight and asked why no contract has been signed: “What is your problem? You not sign contract? What is the problem? Money? I have money. I give,” Imavov
