Novenyi Jr. Faces Haig In DWCS Main Event

Former Bellator middleweight Norbert Novenyi Jr. takes on Theo Haig in Tuesday night's Dana White's Contender Series main event at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Novenyi compiled a 6-1 record under the Bellator banner before his exit and has since rattled off three consecutive first-round stoppages, MMA Fighting reports. Haig returns to the Contender Series after missing out on a UFC deal in his 2025 appearance.

The co-main event features a welterweight clash between unbeaten prospects Alvi Dasuyev and Jaden Ortega. Earlier on the card, Marcos Degli forced Paris Moran to tap to a rear-naked choke at 4:46 of round two, while Piero Guaylupo swept the scorecards 30-27 over Callum Connor. Damian Piwowarczyk opened the night with a first-round TKO of Emilio Quissua at the 4:55 mark.

Season 10 of the Contender Series has produced 28 UFC contracts through six weeks, including four deals handed out last Tuesday. The promotion runs its final DWCS card of the season next week before returning to pay-per-view action in October.
