Charlo Aims For December Return

Jermall Charlo says he plans to fight again in December, after an injury forced him out of his October 17 bout with Koen Mazoudier.

The fight was set for the undercard of Sebastian Fundora’s WBC welterweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super welterweight title defense against Ermal Hadribeaj. Charlo hurt himself in training camp, and former titleholder Jose Resendiz took his place.

He says he is recovering and wants to be back before the end of 2026. The injury hasn’t been disclosed, and no opponent, venue or date has been announced for the comeback, which depends on his recovery.
