EA Sports Confirms Fight Night Boxing Reboot

EA Sports has formally announced that its Fight Night boxing series is coming back, with a release at a later date.

The franchise has been dormant since 2011’s Fight Night Champion, which featured fictional fighter Andre Bishop on the cover.

A reboot was first reported in 2024, but hopes faded over the past year amid reported development problems. The announcement, made through the series’ social media accounts, shows the project is still on track.

Fight Night was once the leading boxing game, before EA’s UFC franchise took shape. That series is still going, with UFC 6 released earlier this summer.
