Georges St. Pierre to corner Zahabi at UFC White House

Tom Rashid
UFC & MMA Lead Writer ·

Georges St. Pierre will attend UFC White House on Sunday and work the corner for Aiemann Zahabi, MMA Mania reports.

The former two-division UFC champion has cornered Zahabi multiple times over the past year, including during the Canadian fighter's bout at UFC 315 in Montreal last May. St. Pierre's presence adds another marquee name to Sunday's White House card, which also features Derrick Lewis against Josh Hokit and commentary around Alex Pereira's heavyweight debut.

St. Pierre's continued role in Zahabi's camp

St. Pierre and Zahabi train together at Tristar Gym in Montreal, where Zahabi's brother Firas serves as head coach. The retired Hall of Famer has remained active in the corner despite stepping away from competition in 2019. His cornering duties have become a regular fixture at events featuring Tristar fighters.

Sunday's event at the White House marks one of the most unusual venues in UFC history. The card airs on CBS.
