Dana White Says He's Working On Shakur Stevenson's Next Fight
Dana White says finding Shakur Stevenson's next opponent ate up a good chunk of his week, though he offered no name, date or venue.
"Yeah, we're working on the Shakur fight right now. Literally today, a couple hours of my day today was spent on Shakur," White
He had previously hinted that the four-division champion would be back in the ring before 2026 ends, but didn't commit to that timeline this time.
Stevenson has pointed to WBA lightweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super lightweight champion Gary Antuanne Russell and IBF lightweight champion Raymond Muratalla as options, saying each wanted $3 million.
Devin Haney is also in the mix, offering 145 pounds with no rehydration clause while Stevenson wants 144 pounds with a 10-pound rehydration cap. White wouldn't say which of those fights he's trying to make or how near a deal is.
