Boxing's heavyweight schedule could soon gain a pair of title bouts.

IBF titleholder Filip Hrgovic is said to be in talks for a first defense against mandatory challenger Frank Sanchez, while Derek Chisora wants a shot at WBA champion Murat Gassiev.

Hrgovic and Sanchez are reportedly discussing a date in Croatia in early 2027. Sanchez gave up his place in line so Hrgovic could meet Moses Itauma on August 29, a fight Hrgovic won by stoppage to claim the vacant belt. Sanchez had earned his mandatory status with a knockout of Richard Torrez Jr. on May 23.

Chisora, 42, is planning a return after appearing to hang up the gloves following a split-decision loss to Deontay Wilder on April 4. His target is Gassiev, who took over the WBA title when Oleksandr Usyk vacated.

"December will be me versus Gassiev. We're going to decide where, either in London or Manchester," Chisora
