Dana White Pursuing Davis After Stevenson Signing

Dana White is targeting Gervonta Davis for Zuffa Boxing after landing Shakur Stevenson on a multi-fight deal.

The UFC president and Zuffa Boxing founder told reporters after Saturday's New York card that he has spoken with Davis about a future partnership. "I do love Tank Davis. I'm actually a fan and we've talked to them," White said, per Sherdog. "I don't want to speak for him or whatever, but I have talked to him and I'm a fan."

Stevenson Deal Opens Door For Davis Superfight

Stevenson's recent signing triggered immediate speculation about a clash with Davis under the Zuffa banner. The two lightweight stars have circled each other for years without landing in the same promotional orbit.

Davis has been inactive since a controversial draw with Lamont Roach Jr. in March 2025. A proposed bout with Jake Paul collapsed amid legal trouble, though domestic violence allegations against the Baltimore native were later dropped.

White stopped short of confirming any agreement with Davis but said Zuffa's mandate is to deliver the sport's biggest fights. "You can make these fights and we can only hope," he told reporters. "I'm looking to make all the big fights that are out there."
