Andrew Tate Vs. Darren Till – How Does It Play Out?

Former kickboxer and influencer Andrew Tate has responded to Darren Till’s callout.

The call out followed Till’s knockout victory over Luke Rockhold last month taking his record to 3-0 in Misfits Boxing. Till has been linked with several big names for his next fight with the likes of Tommy Fury and Mike Perry also being mentioned. However, a bout with Tate would be the most lucrative one. Tate has recently signed a multi-fight deal with Misfits Boxing, as he responded to Till.

"Darren I think you’re hilarious. Always enjoyed your antics and humor. Also seen your career and respect it, you’re well liked in my circles. The fight would be great! I understand fighting me is life changing money for you (not me). But there’s no need for name calling. I really don’t like all that clown s— and being rude etc we’re both professionals here. I find it rude and if that’s the way you’re trying to get the fight it won’t happen. I’m the superstar here. Talk nicely and I’ll reply to your team’s desperate messages," Tate said

The Approach

Tate’s path to victory lies in his kickboxing fundamentals. With a reported record of 76 wins and 9 losses, Tate’s style is based on a high-volume, defensive approach. His primary goal will be to use his jab to keep Till at a distance and his footwork to avoid Till’s power shots. Tate will likely try to use his technical skills to out-point Till. Tate’s experience in kickboxing will be a major advantage, as he can control distance and can use his footwork to create angles and keep Till off balance. He will need to avoid getting drawn into a brawl, which would play directly into Till’s hands.

Till’s path to victory is based on his power and his relentless pressure. His boxing style is a pressure-heavy, aggressive approach. Till will look to close the distance, corner Tate, and force him to exchange. Till will use his powerful left hand, which he used to great effect in his recent knockout victory over Luke Rockhold. Till will need to cut off the ring and not allow Tate to use his footwork to escape.

The biggest question is the physical condition of both fighters. Andrew Tate has not competed in a professional combat sports bout since 2020, and a long layoff can affect a fighter’s timing, reflexes, and cardio. Till, on the other hand, has been active in Misfits Boxing and has shown that he is a legitimate threat. Here is how the fans saw the fight playing out.
