Premier Boxing Champions signs streaming deal with DAZN
Premier Boxing Champions has struck a distribution deal with DAZN, putting the Al Haymon-backed promotion alongside Matchroom and Top Rank on the streaming platform.
Bad Left Hook reports that the agreement takes effect July 25 when Errol Spence meets Tim Tszyu. A second card follows August 22 with Rolly Romero against Teofimo Lopez, airing on both DAZN and Prime Video. PBC's pay-per-view events will continue to stream exclusively on Prime Video, according to the report.
Which PBC fighters will appear on DAZN
The promotion's stable includes David Benavidez, Jermall and Jermell Charlo, Sebastian Fundora, Isaac Cruz, Tim Tszyu, Lamont Roach, Jaime Munguia, Brandon Figueroa, Mario Barrios, Erislandy Lara, Gary Antuanne Russell, and Jesus Ramos. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"PBC's agreement with DAZN is a landmark moment for boxing, particularly in the U.S., where the sport has such a passionate and deeply engaged fanbase," DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said in a statement. "This partnership brings one of America's most influential boxing brands onto DAZN."
DAZN now carries content from Matchroom, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Queensberry, Boxxer, and Salita Promotions. The Spence-Tszyu weigh-in is scheduled for July 24.
