White Urges Joshua And Fury To Get The Fight Done
Dana White has weighed in on the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury standoff — and kept it simple.
"They either want to fight or they don't. We did the television deal and the venue deal. There's a lot of money on the grabs in this fight. Do you want to fight or do you not want to fight?,” White
The bout, tentatively planned for November, has hit turbulence over the venue. Promoter Eddie Hearn threatened earlier this week to pull Joshua out entirely if Turki Alalshikh and Netflix announced the fight for New York City without an agreement in place. Hearn and Joshua have maintained throughout that their deal requires the fight to take place in Britain — a position Frank Warren, Fury's long-time promoter, also publicly backed, calling Wembley Stadium the fight's "natural home."
Joshua and Fury have circled each other for the better part of a decade. With no other obligations standing in the way, the pressure is now on all parties to find a resolution — and get the fight made.
