Nadaka Opens Kickboxing Career With 41-Fight Streak

Reigning ONE atomweight Muay Thai champion Nadaka makes his professional kickboxing debut Saturday against Myanmar's Har Ling Om at ONE SAMURAI 3, carrying a 41-fight winning streak into an entirely new rule set.

The 25-year-old Japanese striker headlines the card in Yokohama with ten Muay Thai world titles across multiple divisions and a 67-6 career record. He has not lost since July 2019, a run that includes championship reigns at Rajadamnern and Lumpinee Stadium at 105 pounds, per BJ Penn.

Nadaka credits Eiwa Sports Gym chairman Natsuo Nakagawa for shaping his trajectory after he arrived at age eleven from a local gym that could not satisfy his hunger for competition. "I started going there when I was eleven. From there, I started fighting a lot more often," he told the outlet. "I really don't think I'd have gone pro without Chairman Nakagawa. He's the reason I fell in love with Muay Thai as a sport."

Nakagawa sent his prized student to Thailand to train under Khundong Por Thawatchai and multi-time champion Pakorn PK Sialaytentmungkorn, who now competes in ONE himself. The gym's system produced visible results beyond titles alone. "The biggest visible sign of growth was just winning fights — the results themselves, such as beating an opponent I hadn't been able to defeat before," Nadaka said. "That was a period where I could really feel myself getting stronger."

Two more Eiwa products fight Saturday. Nadaka's cousin Shimon Yoshinari meets Suablack Tor Pran49 at flyweight, while Ryuya Okuwaki faces Chokdee Maxjandee at atomweight. All three remain unbeaten inside ONE Championship. The event streams live from Yokohama Buntai on September 12.
