Volkanovski On Evloev Walking Through Featherweight Division

Alexander Volkanovski says the version of Movsar Evloev he defeated at UFC 333 would run through every other fighter in the featherweight division.

The former champion, who reclaimed his title against Evloev earlier this month, claims he presents a uniquely difficult puzzle for the undefeated Russian. "If that Movsar fought anyone else in the division, he walks through them," Volkanovski said, per Sherdog. "I'm just a nightmare matchup for him."

Volkanovski Predicts Evloev's Best Performance Next

Volkanovski went further, arguing that Evloev showed his peak form in their bout despite the loss. The Australian believes fans haven't grasped how well the Russian actually fought at UFC 333.

"I believe that was the best Movsar there was. People probably won't get that, but I believe that," Volkanovski told reporters. He predicted Evloev's next outing will prove his point. "Watch his next fight. It'll be his best performance to date. Remember I said that."
