Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley threw a balled-up hat at a heckler during his teammate's walkout at Noche UFC 4 last Saturday.

O'Malley was cornering featherweight Tommy McMillen for his unanimous decision win over Marwan Rahiki in Glendale when an intoxicated fan began shouting insults at the fighter. After roughly two minutes of abuse during the walkway, O'Malley took action, per BJ Penn.com.

O'Malley broke down the moment in a YouTube video released this week. He said a fan spent about two minutes hurling profanity-laced insults at McMillen before the fight. O'Malley rolled his hat into a ball and struck the fan in the face as the team walked out. He told coach Tim Welch beforehand that he planned to do it.

The incident echoes Arman Tsarukyan's walkout altercation at UFC 300, which drew a penalty from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. McMillen went on to deliver one of the wildest performances of the year in his victory over Rahiki.

O'Malley has been a major influence in McMillen's rise toward the featherweight top 15. The former champion remains unsigned for his next fight.
