Ndebele Steps In For Alves At PFL Tampa

Nkosi Ndebele will face Marcirley Alves on two days' notice at PFL Tampa after Gustavo Oliveira withdrew from their scheduled bantamweight bout.

Sherdog reports that the promotion announced the switch Wednesday but did not provide a reason for Oliveira pulling out. The card airs live on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday from Benchmark International Arena in Tampa.

Alves Gets New Opponent After World Title Run

Alves, who won the 2025 PFL bantamweight world tournament, enters the bout with a 15-5 record. Ndebele brings a 13-3 mark into the short-notice assignment.

The event is headlined by Cris Cyborg's women's featherweight championship defense against Ketlen Vieira. That fight marks Cyborg's final MMA bout, according to the promotion.
