Gane Defends Heavyweight Title Against Hokit At UFC 334

Ciryl Gane will defend the UFC heavyweight title against Josh Hokit at UFC 334 on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the promotion announced during Saturday's UFC 331 broadcast.

Gane was promoted to undisputed champion after Tom Aspinall vacated the belt due to an ongoing eye injury. The Frenchman has held the interim title since June, when he stopped Alex Pereira via controversial TKO at UFC's White House event. His previous title fight with Aspinall at UFC 321 ended in a no contest following an accidental eye poke.

Hokit's Rapid Rise Sets Up Heavyweight Showdown

Hokit has torn through the heavyweight division since debuting in November 2025, winning four straight fights in under a year. The former NFL fullback knocked out Derrick Lewis at the White House event and battled Curtis Blaydes in a Fight of the Year candidate earlier this season. BetOnline opened Gane at minus-150, a line that has since moved to minus-235, per Sherdog, with Hokit sitting at plus-195.

The card will be co-headlined by a women's bantamweight title fight between champion Kayla Harrison and Amanda Nunes. The matchup was originally scheduled for UFC 324 last January before Harrison withdrew with a neck injury. Harrison opened as a minus-155 favourite when the bout was first announced in November 2025, according to Sherdog, and now sits at minus-210 against the plus-175 Hall of Famer.

The UFC 334 weigh-ins are scheduled for Nov. 13 at Madison Square Garden.
