Efe Ajagba Stops Charles Martin In The Fourth

Efe Ajagba made a thunderous statement in his first appearance under the Zuffa Boxing banner, stopping former IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin.
The main event concluded with a fourth-round technical knockout that cemented Ajagba’s status on his Zuffa debut. Martin started well, using his lateral movement to frustrate the 31-year-old. Ajagba, meanwhile, struggled early to find his range with the jab, often finding himself caught by Martin’s counters. However, the third round changed that.
Ajagba Reacts
Ajagba detonated a right hand that sent the former champion to the floor in the third. Martin displayed immense heart to beat the count. Ajagba wasted no time in the fourth. He dropped Martin again with a right hand. Ajagba pinned a compromised Martin against the ropes and unleashed a flurry of unanswered power shots, as the fight was waived off.
“I don’t feel his power, but you know, he has a lot of experience. I didn’t expect that … he was very sharp.“I’m ready for everyone in the top 10. But nobody’s mentioning my name, like I said, but it’s obvious. Nobody’s mentioning my name. Nobody’s calling my name. I’m in the top 10. I’m ready to go. I want to fight [guys in] the top 10, top five,” Ajagba said
