Songchainoi Kiatsongrit and Rak Erawan knew their strategy for their rematch. Despite any adjustments they made from the first fight, neither man found a way to secure a stoppage at ONE Friday Night Fights 71 Friday at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand. But after three competitive rounds, online boxing news shows this fight ended like last time.

Songchainoi raised his arm with a unanimous decision victory. This is the second fight between the pair in as many years. Both fights ended with decision wins over Erawan.

Songchainoi made sure that the fight would go the same way because of the pace he set. During the first round, Sonchainoi fired off multiple kicking combinations to the body. The effect of those strikes had Erawan on his heels.

However, Erawan dug in over the next two rounds. The two fighters went back and forth, sometimes having lengthy exchanges in the pocket. Despite their proximity, no one could land the knockout blow. Songchainoi improved to 7-0 in his career and won all four by decision.

There was plenty of high-caliber action during this fight card. Erawan and Sonchainoi’s fight was a fitting end to a fight card that saw plenty of interesting fights.

Petlampun Scores Decisive Victory

Petlampun Muadablampang let Silangern Lanna Waterside know exactly what he was in for. Every time Silangern attempted to build momentum, Petlampun found the combination to send him back to his backside. Petlampun floored Silangern in the first minute of the fight with a right hook.

MMAfighting latest news about MMAfighting shows that the onslaught didn’t stop there. When Silangern worked his way back to his feet, he couldn’t stay there long. Petlampun launched a two-punch combination that sent Silangern sprawling back to the mat.

Another attempt for Silangern to get back in the first saw Petlampun respond with a wild combination that ended with a left hand that put Silangern down for good. Petlampun is on a five-fight winning streak and has won 88 fights.

Chartpayak Builds Serious Momentum

Chartpayak Saksatoon is slowly leaving opponents in his wake. By knocking out Pornsanae Sor Phumipat, Chartpayak added his third straight first-round knockout to his resume. Pornsanae’s fighting style perfectly fit what Charpayak wanted to accomplish.

When the bell rang, Pornsanae charged across the ring to engage. Chartpayak wasn’t afraid to welcome what Pornsanae could do as he came forward. When Pornsanae wanted to put pressure on, Chartpayak responded with a left hook that sent Pornsanae to the mat. While Pornsanae managed to return to his feet, he was never the same.

Chartpayak responded with a jumping knee and a left elbow to secure the victory in just 68 seconds, according to online boxing news. Chartpayak is now 64-15 in his career, including a 3-0 mark in ONE.

Yoddoi Pushes the Pace

Yoddoi Kaewsamrit clarified one thing during his Muay Thai atomweight fight with Chokdee Maxjandee. Yoddoi pushed a furious pace in the fight. He dared Chokdee to try and keep up.

Chokdee, at least at first, seemed like he was capable. During the first wild exchange, Chokdee landed a few stiff shots during an opening exchange. However, when the fight didn’t end quickly, Chokdee struggled to keep up.

The momentum started to turn late in the first round when Yoddoi started to wear down Chokdee with consistent pressure. When the second round opened up, and Yoddoi was still fighting with the same type of pressure, Chokdee was done.

Yoddoi would land a flurry of punches to bring the fight to start at the 1:10 mark of the second round.

Padejusk Adds Important Win to Resume

Padejsuk Looksuan never gave up on the fight. Late in the third round, Padejsuk’s energy level remained high during a 126-pound catchweight with Pettaweesak Sanmorakot. During the early part of the fight, Pettaweesak was able to push the pace by setting up his combinations by utilizing a strong jab.

Padejsuk was able to use his strong kicks to fire back. Throughout the fight, both fighters continuously adjusted to gain the upper hand. Padejsuk turned things around in the second round by utilizing a strong attack in the clinch.

Pettaweesak hoped to battle back with volume, but those lighter shots didn’t look as impressive as Padejsuk’s power strikes from the clinch. During the final round, Padejsuk dug in and landed many vicious strikes on the 18-year-old fighter. Padejsuk’s work throughout the fight to establish his power would end up paying off through a unanimous decision.

Padejsuk improved to 41-10 in his career.

Masdor Surprises Petaek With a Creative Attack

Rifdean Masdor wanted to give everyone a good show in a 113-pound Muay Thai fight. Rifdean’s performance worked so well against Petaek Sitbigjasskonrakpathum because Masdor could disguise what he would do in the attack so well. First, Masdor softened up Petaek in the first round with a heavy right hand.

Masdor recognized that Petaek was in trouble soon after landing that blow. Masdor would immediately surge forward and throw out a significant amount of heavy punches while moving forward. Petaek could never find a way to get into the match.

Toward the middle part of the second round, Masdor threw out a right elbow that landed directly on Petaek’s temple. Petaek couldn’t find a way to get to his feet. Masdor improved to 42-7 on his career by winning by knockout at the 2:49 mark of the first round.
