Dana White expects Johnny Fisher to reach a new level for his next fight after the heavyweight gassed in his Zuffa Boxing debut against Michael Pirotton in September. White told Sky Sports that Fisher looked strong early before fading over the final rounds, but credited the British prospect's mental toughness in pushing through to win the 10-round contest.

White invited Fisher to train at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas ahead of his next outing. Fisher has suggested he overtrained for the Pirotton bout, and White said all Zuffa Boxing fighters should take advantage of the facility.

White praised Fisher's refusal to quit despite the conditioning issues. "When you see a guy gas like he did and you push yourself through, you don't quit and you make it through that, it just takes you to another level for your next fight," White said. He added that Fisher now knows what adjustments to make in camp and it will be exciting to see those changes.

Fisher has options for his next assignment. Former IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin is open to fighting the Londoner, with Martin's manager Mike Borao telling Sky Sports that possible opponents include Fisher, Dillian Whyte, or another British fighter. Martin last fought in Britain in 2016 when he lost his title to Anthony Joshua at the O2.

Borao said Martin is planning one more big push in 2027 and wants another opportunity in the UK. Fisher meanwhile remains hugely popular on social media and drew a strong crowd for his Zuffa debut at the Copper Box.
