White Reveals Contender Series Alum Made $11M

Dana White says a former Contender Series fighter has made $11 million in the UFC without ever competing for a title.

White shared the figure during a recent broadcast appearance, per MMA Mania, though he did not name the fighter. The disclosure comes as contract disputes and fighter pay remain flashpoints between the promotion and its roster.

Who Earned $11 Million Without A Title Shot

The unnamed welterweight is believed to be a multi-time ranked contender who joined the roster through the Contender Series pipeline several years ago. His disclosed purses through Nevada and California commissions have never approached that figure publicly, though undisclosed locker-room bonuses and pay-per-view points could account for the gap.

White has previously used similar anecdotes to push back against criticism of UFC compensation structures. The promotion does not release full fighter earnings and often cites private incentives as evidence that disclosed purses understate actual pay.

The same broadcast touched on Bella Mir's upset loss as a massive betting favourite on the latest Contender Series card. White acknowledged the result but did not comment on how it might affect her promotional trajectory.
