UFC auctions red corner stool from Freedom 250 White House event
UFC Collectibles is auctioning the red corner stool used throughout Freedom 250, the promotion's White House South Lawn event earlier this month where lightweight champion Ilia Topuria surrendered on the seat between rounds against Justin Gaethje.
Per MMA Mania, the stool saw use by seven fighters across the June 14 card, including Alex Pereira, Sean O'Malley, Bo Nickal, Diego Lopes, Mauricio Ruffy, and Josh Hokit. Bidding reportedly stood at $2,800 as of midweek, with UFC Collectibles describing the item as a chance to own "a genuine piece of history forged during the biggest UFC event of all time."
What happened at UFC Freedom 250
Topuria quit on the stool after four rounds, handing Gaethje the lightweight title and both performance bonuses in front of 17 million Paramount+ viewers. The co-main saw Ciryl Gane stop Pereira in the second round to claim interim heavyweight gold. Every bout on the card ended inside the distance.
The auction listing notes the stool is a one-of-one collectible and urges prospective buyers to act quickly. UFC Collectibles has not announced a close date for bidding.
