UFC 332 rewrote the record books Saturday night despite abysmal pre-fight buzz around the Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong headliner in Salt Lake City.
The card produced 11 knockouts, including the most first-round finishes in promotional history, per MMA Mania. Payton Talbott's stoppage of former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo set the all-time UFC knockout record for a single event. Dana White contributed to the low expectations by blanking on Silva's nickname during fight week while discussing the Anthony Joshua-Tyson Fury boxing match instead.

Early Prelims Carried Biggest Names
The broadcast order backfired when Rafael dos Anjos, Marvin Vettori, and Johnny Walker all fought on the earliest prelims rather than closer to the main card. Court McGee and dos Anjos both suffered violent finishes. Walker debuted at heavyweight by kneeing Mick Parkin unconscious, then doing the worm beside his convulsing opponent. Jacobe Smith continued his welterweight prospect run with another frightening stoppage.
The main card opened with Roman Kopylov stunning expected destroyer Ateba Gautier, outboxing and stopping the Cameroonian three minutes into the fight. Roberto Soldic and Khaos Williams traded bombs without a finish. Esteban Ribovics dropped King Green three times before the referee waved it off.

The Silva-Cong main event proved competitive if not explosive. Four prelim bouts featured one-sided matchmaking, including Anthony Wint smashing another random heavyweight and Damian Pinas taking a step backward to knock out Andrey Pulyaev. Imanol Rodriguez crushed Alden Coria with a body kick that produced "a literal scream of agony," MMA Mania's Andrew Richardson wrote.
