Ben Whittaker held on through a rough finish to beat Conor Wallace by unanimous decision, keeping his WBC Silver heavyweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">light heavyweight title and moving into IBF mandatory position. Scores were 117-111, 116-112 and 115-113.
Whittaker controlled most of the first nine rounds, but Wallace changed the fight in the tenth with a lead left to the chin. Whittaker steadied himself in the 11th, then took heavy punishment in the 12th as Wallace hunted for the stoppage.

He held repeatedly and struggled to stay on his feet before referee Kieran McCann separated them, and though several falls raised questions, no knockdowns were officially ruled.
