Turkish IBF lightweight champion Elif Nur Turhan has signed with Most Valuable Promotions, clearing a path toward an undisputed fight with British titleholder Caroline Dubois.
Turhan, unbeaten through 14 professional bouts with eight stoppages, was previously with Matchroom Boxing but made the switch under a new strategic alliance between the two promotions, the BBC reports. The 31-year-old's arrival at MVP puts her under the same banner as Dubois, who holds the WBC and WBO straps at 135 pounds.

What the Matchroom-MVP Partnership Means for Dubois
The promotional agreement announced last month was designed to create crossover opportunities for female fighters on both rosters. Turhan becomes the second notable name to make the jump from Matchroom to MVP, following Australian two-weight world champion Skye Nicolson. "The Golden Turkish Warrior is one of the most exciting fighters in boxing given her immense punching power and her relentless aggressive, pressure heavy style," MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said, per the BBC.
Turhan told reporters she is eager for the new platform. "Forces have been joined," she said. "As female boxers, we will now move forward with greater strength."

Dubois defends her titles against American Amelia Moore on 29 August in Birmingham on an all-female card. WBA lightweight champion Stephanie Han is also signed to MVP, meaning three of the four major belts at 135 pounds now sit with the same promoter.
MVP merged with the Professional Fighters League in July, bringing together more than 300 fighters across boxing and MMA.
