Eddie Hearn says he should sue Dana White over the UFC president's involvement in negotiations for Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury.

Hearn told About Boxing that White is breaching Joshua's promotional contract by claiming he can stage the fight in the United States when the deal mandates a UK venue and bars TKO involvement. "I should be suing Dana White," Hearn said, per MMA Mania. "Because what he's doing is, he's actually purporting to have the ability to stage the fight, and he's using my client to do a venue deal that he has no rights to."

White responded at Tuesday's Contender Series presser with characteristic indifference. "I'm not going to play these games with these guys," he said, according to the report. When asked if he had heard Hearn's lawsuit threat, White said he stopped listening to the Matchroom promoter months ago. "Is there anybody more full of s--t than this guy? Come on. Completely full of s--t."

The public battle between the two promoters has dragged on for nearly a month since Fury stopped Mariusz Wach and Joshua beat Kristian Prenga in questionable warmup bouts. Hearn maintains his contract with Joshua prohibits any changes without his approval. "Right now there is no agreement to change anything in that contract," he told About Boxing. "And right now from our side, no announcement is imminent."

Hearn said TKO recently approached him asking to participate in the promotion after White initially claimed full promotional rights. Rather than refusing outright, Hearn said he is demanding explanations for how TKO involvement would benefit Joshua or Matchroom. If the dispute reaches court, the heavyweight clash could collapse for another cycle.
