Sharif Rahman Signs BKB Deal With Undefeated Record

Sharif Rahman has signed a multi-fight contract with Bare Knuckle Boxing, bringing an unblemished 9-0 professional boxing record into the promotion's bare-knuckle ranks.

Rahman, 30, is the son of former two-time heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman, who knocked out Lennox Lewis in 2001 to claim the title. The younger Rahman, known as "C3," has landed four knockouts across nine pro bouts and trains out of Las Vegas after growing up in Baltimore. His brother Hasim Rahman Jr. also boxes professionally.

"I've carried this family name my whole career and I've never lost," Rahman said in a BKB press release, per Sherdog. "Bare-knuckle is a new test, no gloves, no excuses, just pure skill and heart and I'm bringing my undefeated record to BKB to prove I belong among the best in the trigon."

The signing continues BKB's push to land established boxers. Victor Ortiz, JoJo Diaz, Alfredo Angulo, and Lee Selby have all made recent moves to the promotion. Rahman's opponent and debut date have not been announced.
