WBO Junior Welterweight Champ Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson had a fiery presser, as many verbal jabs were exchanged.

Lopez looks to cement his status at 140 pounds following his dominant May 2025 victory over Arnold Barboza Jr. and his career-defining win over Josh Taylor Meanwhile, Stevenson is attempting to secure a world championship in a fourth weight division. Devin Haney will be ringside for the fight, with suggestions the winner could face him sometime in 2026.

Shakur caused controversy by bringing some alcohol as a gift for Lopez Sr., who was absent. Shakur suggested Lopez Sr. was drunk, while Teo made crude comments about Shakur, who then walked towards Lopez in an attempt to slap him. Security separated the pair, as they had plenty to say.
