Saraiva Drops Hands And Suffers Vicious Knockout
Reimison Saraiva dropped his hands mid-exchange and dared opponent Jan Cieplowski to hit him at DWM 10. The invitation ended with six unanswered haymakers landing flush and Saraiva flat on the canvas.
The Brazilian inexplicably lowered his guard during a heated exchange, leaving his chin exposed. Cieplowski capitalized immediately, ripping off a barrage of power shots that connected cleanly on Saraiva's jaw. MMA Fighting called it "legitimately one of the most brutal knockouts" of the year, noting that every replay angle made the finish look worse.
Saraiva's Troubled Record
The loss marked Saraiva's 10th career defeat, with all 10 coming by knockout or submission in the opening round. According to Tapology, five of his 14 career wins have been flagged, raising questions about the legitimacy of those results. The stoppage came at DWM 10, with full replay footage available on YouTube.
Whether Saraiva was attempting to bait Cieplowski into a mistake or had already been hurt by earlier shots remains unclear. Either way, the tactic backfired spectacularly. Cieplowski showed no hesitation when presented with an open target, landing clean with every strike until the referee intervened.
DWM has not announced its next event schedule.
