Ruotolo Faces Ok In ONE Fight Night 50 Test

Kade Ruotolo will face former ONE Championship lightweight titleholder Ok Rae Yoon at ONE Fight Night 50 on Prime Video, per BJPenn.com.

The American grappler has stopped every MMA opponent he has faced since making the jump from submission grappling. Ruotolo now gets his first look at a fighter who has held gold in the promotion.

How Ruotolo's Grappling Base Translates Against Ok

The matchup tests how far Ruotolo's rapid ascent can take him against a proven mixed martial artist. Ok lost the lightweight strap but brings cage experience Ruotolo has not yet encountered.

Ruotolo built his reputation as one of the sport's most dangerous grapplers before transitioning to MMA. His finishing rate has carried over so far, but Ok represents a significant step up in competition.

ONE Fight Night 50 streams live on Prime Video. The bout gives Ruotolo a chance to prove his submission skills can overcome a former champion's well-rounded game.
