Rahiki Dismisses McMillen's Record Ahead Of Noche UFC 4

Marwan Rahiki is unbothered by Tommy McMillen's record-breaking striking output.

The two undefeated featherweights meet Saturday at Noche UFC 4 in Glendale, Arizona, with McMillen coming off a performance that saw him land 252 significant strikes in three rounds — the most in UFC history for a non-title fight. That number trails only Max Holloway's 290 against Calvin Kattar and Rob Font's 271 against Marlon Vera, both of which came over five rounds.

Rahiki Predicts Knockout Over McMillen

Rahiki told reporters at media day that the statistic does not impress him. "I don't care about the significant-strikes stat — it's the last thing I would consider impressive," he said, per MMA Mania. "We're going to see what happens when I hit him and how he reacts to that. He's never been hit by someone like me — I guarantee that a million percent."

The 9-0 prospect has stopped eight opponents, including four in the opening round. He told UFC.com that he holds advantages in speed, power and size over McMillen, and that those factors will decide the fight. McMillen carries an 11-0 record with ten finishes, five by knockout.

Noche UFC 4 takes place Saturday at Desert Diamond Arena with the featured bout scheduled for three rounds at 145 pounds.
