White Ready To Walk From Fury-Joshua Over Hearn

Dana White says he's on the verge of walking away from Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua negotiations, placing the blame squarely on Eddie Hearn.

The Zuffa Boxing president told iFL TV and other outlets that the Matchroom promoter has done more to damage the heavyweight superfight than anyone involved. "I've never seen a guy who is supposed to be the promoter of an event hurt the fight more than this guy has," White said, per BJPENN.com. "Pretty fascinating, actually. There is no fight."

White Threatens To Abandon Fury vs. Joshua Deal

When asked if he was ready to pull out, White confirmed the situation had reached a breaking point. "Yes, we're literally right there," he said. "If Eddie doesn't like the way this is going down, then rip up the contract and do the fight yourself."

Fury had publicly encouraged White to get involved in finalizing the bout with Joshua, with both fighters having competed in separate heavyweight tune-ups earlier this year. Turki Alalshikh, White, and Hearn are the key parties attempting to close the deal.

White noted that staging the fight in the UK would mean significantly less revenue for both fighters. "My job is to come in, figure out how to make both of those guys money, and make the other people involved money," he said. "Whether this fight happens or not, my life goes on, and I'm going to do just fine."
