Niko Price is coming out of retirement for one more Octagon walk.
The welterweight veteran will face Leon Shahbazyan at UFC Vegas 122 on Oct. 10, Heavy.com reports, six months after his intended farewell was overshadowed at UFC Seattle. Price submitted to Michael Chiesa in March and tried to hang up the gloves, but Chiesa's hometown retirement stole the spotlight. The promotion gave Chiesa a full video package and microphone time while Price, a 21-fight UFC veteran, received no acknowledgment.

Price Gets Second Chance at Proper Sendoff
The matchup with Shahbazyan represents a clear step down in competition for Price, who has dropped four straight and struggled since a serious knee injury derailed his career. Shahbazyan was stopped quickly in his promotional debut. Whether Price can secure a victory remains uncertain, but the UFC is expected to prepare a proper farewell package this time around.
Price built a reputation as a fan favorite action fighter with one of the sport's most unconventional highlight reels before injuries took their toll. The bout takes place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
