Former WBO cruiserweight champion Johnny Nelson weighed in on boxing's most compelling question during BBC Radio 5 Live's latest Boxing Board episode.

Nelson joined chairman Ade Oladipo and comedian Kevin Garry on the September 9 broadcast to debate which single round stands as the sport's greatest, according to the BBC. The panel broke the conversation into four categories: best British fighter round, best round since 2010, best championship round, and best non-championship round.

Classic Rounds Under The Microscope

The discussion covered several legendary three-minute sequences, per the show description. Round nine of Arturo Gatti versus Micky Ward entered the conversation, as did the sixth round of Danny Williams' comeback against Mark Potter when the British heavyweight fought with one functional arm. The panel also examined the opening round of Marvin Hagler versus Thomas Hearns, widely considered one of the most ferocious starts to any championship bout.
