Isaac Moreno will marry his fiancée just hours after earning a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series.
Moreno remained unbeaten at 9-0 with a unanimous decision over Reginaldo Geraldo Jr. in a welterweight bout on Week 5 of DWCS 2026, as Sherdog first reported. Dana White acknowledged he had to convince the promotion's matchmakers to award Moreno the contract despite a close fight.

Moreno's Same-Night Wedding Plans
In his post-fight interview, Moreno revealed he is marrying Luna Garcia at 9:30 that evening and extended an open invitation to fans. "We're getting married today at 9:30, right after this," Moreno said. "I'm just letting my parents know. Nobody knew, but I'm marrying my fiancée tonight at 9:30. Follow us on Instagram to show up. Let's pack the house, guys."
Moreno credited his distance management for the win over Geraldo Jr., noting he prepared the game plan on 10 days' notice while also battling through the weight cut. He said his gas tank held up despite the short-notice circumstances and that he proved he can absorb punishment and continue working.
