MMA Mania Asks Fans About Favorite Martial Arts Films
MMA Mania opened its Wednesday discussion thread with a question about martial arts cinema, asking readers to name their favorite fight films. The post, authored by site contributor Tim Edwards, highlighted several classic options and streaming recommendations.
Edwards admitted his own pick might lack originality but stood by it. "At the risk of sounding basic, I don't think you can beat Enter The Dragon," he wrote, per MMA Mania, before linking readers to a free Bruce Lee film available on YouTube and directing them toward Jackie Chan's catalog as well.
Recommended Viewing Beyond The Classics
The post also flagged Thai action star Tony Jaa as an underrated option, warning readers not to overlook his work. Edwards mentioned a tabletop game called Wandering Blades created by a friend, connecting the combat sports theme to medieval weaponry.
The open thread ran alongside brief MMA news items, including updates on Conor McGregor facing multiple accusations, Tai Tuivasa confirming the UFC wants him back for another fight, and Alex Pereira announcing a new promotional home. MMA Mania's daily off-topic threads give the site's community a space to discuss topics beyond upcoming UFC cards and fight results.
