UFC releases McGregor vs Holloway full fight marathon ahead of UFC 329
UFC has released a full fight marathon showcasing past performances from Conor McGregor and Max Holloway as their UFC 329 rematch approaches on July 11 in Las Vegas.
The two stars meet at welterweight for the first time, with McGregor returning from a three-year layoff after breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier in 2021. Holloway steps up to 170 pounds for the first time in his career at McGregor's request.
Why UFC cut the McGregor-Holloway fight marathon now
The marathon serves as a reminder of what McGregor once was. "Fight fans may not remember how good McGregor was," MMA Mania noted in covering the release. "They've been watching Holloway's greatness over the past five years, but nothing from 'Notorious.'"
The video package includes key bouts from both fighters, though UFC has not specified which performances made the cut. McGregor stopped Holloway via ACL injury in their first meeting back in 2013, when both were climbing the featherweight ranks.
Tickets for UFC 329 have already hit the secondary market with nosebleeds running nearly two thousand dollars, per multiple outlets. The weigh-ins are scheduled for July 10.
