McGregor Predicts Head Kick KO For Garry At UFC 330

Conor McGregor has issued a specific prediction for Ian Machado Garry's welterweight title shot against Islam Makhachev at UFC 330 this Saturday.

McGregor told fans on Instagram that Garry will catch Makhachev with a right high kick in the later rounds, per BJPenn.com. The forecast comes after Garry trained at SBG Ireland, McGregor's longtime gym, for the bulk of his camp ahead of the Philadelphia card.

McGregor Backs Garry After SBG Ireland Camp

"For the Makhachev/Garry fight...let's go Garry! You know it. He has the tools, been doing great work at SBG, putting in some solid rounds, and I've heard about the rounds and the structure," McGregor said. "Ian's definitely going to stay safe, be in there. Makhachev has pockets where there's a lot of stalling, and he still has things to prove in that welterweight division."

McGregor predicted the finish would land across the crown of Makhachev's head late in the fight. He called the clash between Ireland and Dagestan a cracking contest and added that Garry has the tools to pull off the upset.

Makhachev enters the bout as the pound-for-pound best fighter in MMA and the promotion's latest two-division champion. Garry comes in as a sizable underdog but brings size and a well-rounded skill set to the matchup.
