Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship founder David Feldman expects Conor McGregor to compete in his promotion after the former two-division UFC champion's current deal expires.

Feldman told ESPN he would put everything on the line that McGregor steps into the bare-knuckle ring once he finishes his obligations with the UFC. "I'd bet everything" on McGregor joining BKFC, Feldman said, according to the report.

McGregor became a minority owner in BKFC last year and has been a vocal supporter of the promotion. The Irishman has not fought in the UFC since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

BKFC has grown significantly since its 2018 launch and recently signed former UFC fighters including Mike Perry and Paige VanZant. The promotion held its first event in the UK in February and continues expanding its roster with former MMA talent.

McGregor is still under contract with the UFC and has no confirmed date for his octagon return. Feldman's comments suggest BKFC views the Irish star as a future attraction once that deal ends.
