Manon Fiorot vs. Alexa Grasso booked for Noche UFC in September
Manon Fiorot will face former flyweight champion Alexa Grasso at Noche UFC on Sept. 12 in Glendale, Ariz., multiple outlets confirmed this week.
MMA Fighting and Heavy both reported the booking. The fight gives Fiorot another crack at title contention after she dropped a decision to current champ Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 315 last May. The French contender bounced back hard, stopping Jasmine Jasudavicius in 74 seconds at UFC Vancouver in October.
Grasso looking to rebound after Silva loss
Grasso entered 2026 on a three-fight skid that included back-to-back losses to Shevchenko and a decision defeat against Natalia Silva at UFC 315. The former champ reminded everyone of her finishing power at UFC Seattle in March, delivering what MMA Fighting called one of the most vicious stoppages in promotional history when she beat Maycee Barber.
Fiorot sits at No. 2 in MMA Fighting's global flyweight rankings after going 7-0 in her first seven UFC appearances before the Shevchenko loss. A win over Grasso would put her back in line for another title shot.
The annual Noche UFC card celebrates Mexican Independence Day and has previously featured top Mexican fighters in main event slots.
