Lomachenko Reportedly Targeting November Comeback

Vasiliy Lomachenko is reportedly eyeing a November return to boxing at featherweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super featherweight, ending a layoff of more than two years. No opponent, date or venue has been announced.
Lomachenko, 38, last fought in May 2024, stopping George Kambosos Jr. to win the IBF lightweight title before retiring. He previously held a super featherweight title from 2016 to 2018 and has also won world titles at featherweight and lightweight.

WBC super featherweight champion O'Shaquie Foster has expressed interest in facing him, though a fight would likely depend on the outcome of Foster's upcoming unification bout against Emanuel Navarrete on October 24. Lomachenko's deal with Top Rank has since expired, leaving him free to negotiate with other promoters as he plans his comeback.
