Livingston Says He Can Pack Out MSG By Himself

Adam Livingston believes he can sell out Madison Square Garden without any help.

The 25-year-old lightweight earned a UFC contract Tuesday night after a three-round slugfest with Hunter Smith at Week 4 of Dana White's Contender Series, according to Sherdog. Livingston improved to 8-1 with the win in his second DWCS attempt, having fallen short in last year's tryout.

Livingston Targets November MSG Card

The New Yorker immediately set his sights on the promotion's November card at Madison Square Garden, asking for a main card opener slot. He told the DWCS broadcast that his local fanbase alone could fill the venue.

Livingston attributed his first DWCS loss to poor timing and conditioning. "Last time I was 23, coming off a trip; that wasn't my best performance," he said in his post-fight interview, per Sherdog. "You guys got one of the best versions of me today and it's just the beginning."

The lightweight prospect declared he would deliver that level of performance every time out. "I'm from New York, I'll pack out the place by myself," he said.

UFC has not announced matchups for its November MSG event. Livingston's octagon debut date remains unconfirmed.
