Lee Selby Faces Ollie Sentance In BKB 61 Main Event

Former IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby will face unbeaten lightweight/" class="internal-link text-bone underline decoration-ash/30 hover:decoration-gold underline-offset-2">super lightweight Ollie Sentance in the main event of BKB 61 on Nov. 14 at indigo inside The O2 in London, Bare Knuckle Boxing announced this week.

Selby transitioned to bare knuckle earlier this year with a second-round stoppage of Antonio Rizzo at BKB 55 in June, according to MMA Mania. The Welsh fighter now holds a 1-0 record with one knockout in the Trigon.

Sentance Brings Perfect BKB Record Into Selby Test

Sentance carries a 2-0 mark into the bout, having stopped Nico Earwaker in four rounds at BKB 51 in February before finishing Corey Healey in the second round at BKB 55. The Kidderminster native has competed across multiple combat disciplines including mixed martial arts and kickboxing.

"Lee Selby is a former world champion and has achieved a lot in boxing, so I have nothing but respect for what he's done," Sentance said, per MMA Mania. "But this is bare knuckle boxing, and when we step into the Trigon, none of that matters."

Selby told reporters he expects a proper battle with the hard-hitting Sentance. The former champion said fighting in front of British fans at The O2 makes the assignment special.
