Larry Wheels Suffers Torn Biceps At Brand Risk 15

Social media influencer Larry Wheels tore his biceps during a boxing match at Brand Risk 15 in Miami last weekend, forcing a no-contest ruling against opponent Vitaly.

Wheels, who has previously been knocked out by former UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili and suffered a knockout loss on Power Slap, sustained the injury while throwing an illegal punch after his opponent had been knocked down. "That was the punch that tore my biceps," Wheels told Fred Talks Fighting. "It's totally detached, which serves me right for hitting a man when he's down."

Medical Analysis Shows Injury Not Career-Threatening

Sports physician Brian Sutterer said on YouTube that Wheels could have continued fighting despite the injury. According to Sutterer, a torn biceps is not inherently dangerous or unstable, and most patients do not require surgery for the condition. "Functionally, most people will actually not notice too much of a difference when they have an injury like this," Sutterer explained.

Wheels admitted the illegal shot was poor sportsmanship and apologized to his opponent. Despite the setback, the bodybuilder and influencer said he plans to return to training as soon as possible.

The Brand Risk 15 card in Miami featured multiple influencer boxing matches, including appearances by FaZe Temper and Kimbo Slice Jr.
