Bella Mir has opened as the biggest women's betting favorite in UFC Contender Series history ahead of her contract bout Tuesday night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
The 23-year-old daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir is listed as high as -1600 against opponent Alex Apodaca, who sits at +800, MMA Mania reports. That breaks the previous record held by Shannon Clark at -1500, with Antonina Shevchenko third at -1350. Clark's fight ended in an upset knockout loss to Yuneisy Duben, a reminder that massive odds guarantee nothing.

What Makes Mir Such A Heavy Favorite
Oddsmakers have reason to back Mir. The undefeated prospect is 4-0 in professional MMA with three first-round submissions and has won all three of her UFC BJJ appearances. She capped her collegiate wrestling career by capturing the inaugural NCAA women's national championship at 145 pounds in 2024 after signing with UFC as the promotion's first NIL ambassador in 2023.
