Kurt Angle Warns Ray Lewis Of Risks Ahead Of Potential RAF Debut

Kurt Angle has voiced concern over Ray Lewis potentially competing in Real American Freestyle at 51, questioning whether the former NFL star should get on the mat against younger, active wrestlers.

"Ray Lewis is a badass, but… I don't know if it'd be a good idea for him to get on the mat with some of those studs.

"Ray did wrestle I believe in high school. So, he knows wrestling. Every match in Olympic-style wrestling is real. So, if he does wrestle, then good for him. And I hope he doesn't get hurt," Angle

Angle, who retired from pro wrestling in 2019 after a four-decade career and has since undergone multiple surgeries including knee replacements and neck surgery, said he regrets not stepping away sooner himself. Lewis, a Pro Football Hall of Famer with a high school wrestling background, has been linked to a possible RAF appearance.
