Jarrell Miller Vs. Lenier Pero Predictions – ‘He's In Trouble'
Jarrell Miller and Lenier Pero will meet in a 12-round WBA title eliminator on Saturday, as fans picked their winner.
Miller enters this weekend coming off a hard-fought split-decision victory over Kingsley Ibeh in February 2026. Currently ranked #9 by the WBA, Miller knows a win over the #2-ranked Pero is the only way to secure a mandatory position for the belt.
Pero’s most significant victory to date came in November 2025, where he secured a unanimous decision over the 6’7″ Jordan Thompson in Orlando. Despite being deducted a point for low blows, Pero showed elite poise and a punishing body attack to get the win. Here is how the fans saw the fight playing out.
Pre-Fight
“[Miller] is a tough guy with a great chin. It’s remarkable for a guy that heavy to have the endurance, the motor that he shows because he’s usually a very busy guy that’s coming forward. He’s getting older, carrying around that weight for so long, it can have a wearing effect on you physically,” Teddy Atlas stated
“This camp has been all about getting better every day. Working with Bob Santos, we focus on doing the small things right, staying disciplined and understanding the game. Every session has a purpose. I feel more in control and more confident going into this fight.
“Miller’s a strong guy who keeps coming and likes to make it a fight. He can take a punch and doesn’t back down, so I know what I’m up against. But this isn’t just about who’s stronger – it’s about staying calm, sticking to my game plan, and controlling the fight with intelligence. That’s how you win fights like this. At this level, the smarter fighter usually wins,” Pero said
