Paul Tells Page To Join MVP MMA After UFC Exit
Jake Paul has made his pitch to Michael Page after the UFC chose not to re-sign the British striker following his win at UFC Paris on Saturday.
Page picked up a unanimous decision over Nursulton Ruziboev in a middleweight bout that drew boos from the crowd, closing out his UFC contract with a 5-1 record inside the octagon. UFC president Dana White confirmed on Tuesday that the promotion had parted ways with Page, whose lone UFC loss came to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024.
Paul's Public Offer To Page
On Wednesday, Paul sent a message to Page on social media expressing interest in bringing the fighter to his soon-to-be rebranded MVP MMA promotion. "Think it's time to bring MVP to MVP," Paul wrote on Twitter, as MMA Fighting reported.
Page addressed critics in an Instagram post showing a photo of himself pushing a rock. "Me trying to handle the internet's opinions," he wrote in the caption.
The former Bellator star's flashy striking style and showboating drew polarizing reactions during his UFC run, with several of his performances leaving fans and analysts wanting more action. No timeline has been announced for when Paul's rebranded promotion will launch or when Page might make a decision on his next move.
