Hattan Alsaif wins pro debut in first female MMA main event in Saudi Arabia

Hattan Alsaif stopped Dania Ouhachi in the second round at PFL MENA 10 in Riyadh on Friday, headlining the first female main event in Saudi Arabian MMA history.

Alsaif, who went 4-0 as an amateur, picked up a second-round technical knockout in her professional debut, according to Sherdog. The stoppage sent the Saudi crowd into a frenzy and capped a historic evening at the Global Stage venue on Boulevard City.

Welterweight and featherweight brackets advance

The co-main event saw Hazem Kayyali settle a bitter rivalry with Hassan Shaaban via unanimous decision after the two fighters had confrontations at the fighter hotel throughout fight week. Kayyali now faces 2025 PFL MENA finalist Badreddine Diani in the welterweight semifinals. Diani earned his spot with a decision over Yousef Adel.

On the other side of the welterweight bracket, Abdelkrim Zouad and Omar Hussein both advanced with finishes. Zouad reached the semifinals in his first PFL MENA campaign last year, while Hussein bounced back after an early exit in 2025.

In the featherweight quarterfinals, Shadi Kabbani moved to 4-0 as a professional with a unanimous decision over veteran Ahmed Tarek. Elias Boudegzdame delivered one of the night's top performances with a first-round submission of Hussein Salem.

PFL MENA returns later this summer with the remaining tournament rounds.
